CAMPUS CREATORS
Campus Creator Program Terms
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains how the Wisconsin Soap Company Campus Creators Program works and what is expected of creators who take part. It is written in plain English to help you understand the program. It is not a substitute for professional legal advice. If you have questions about how the program applies to you, you can reach us through our contact page.
Program purpose
The Campus Creators Program gives selected Wisconsin students an opportunity to promote Wisconsin Soap Company products and potentially earn commission from qualifying sales they generate.
Eligibility
For the initial launch of the Campus Creators Program, applicants must be 18 years of age or older and currently attending a Wisconsin college or university.
This 18+ requirement is the initial launch policy. Wisconsin Soap Company may expand eligibility in the future, but no applicant under 18 may participate in or earn through the program at this time.
Independent participation
Participation in the program does not create:
- employment
- an internship
- academic credit
- university affiliation
- a current scholarship or grant
- a charitable fund or donation
- exclusivity
- guaranteed work
- guaranteed income
You take part in the program as an independent creator, not as an employee, intern, or representative of Wisconsin Soap Company or any school.
Acceptance
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
Wisconsin Soap Company may approve, decline, pause, or end participation in the program according to these program terms.
Creator content
Creators should:
- use their own genuine voice
- provide truthful opinions
- never make claims about products that they do not honestly believe
- never make unsupported health, medical, therapeutic, or safety claims
- never represent themselves as employees or official representatives of a university
Creators are not required to give a positive review.
Commission
Founding Campus Creators can earn 50% of eligible product revenue from qualifying first orders attributed to that creator. This is not 50% of company profits and not 50% of every sale.
To be clear about what this means:
- 50% of eligible product revenue from qualifying first orders only
- shipping and taxes are excluded
- canceled orders are excluded
- refunded amounts are excluded
- fraudulent transactions are excluded
- chargebacks are excluded
- invalid or duplicate orders are excluded
- only one creator may be attributed per qualifying first order
- repeat purchases by the same customer are not eligible for the Founding Creator first-order commission
- no earnings are guaranteed
Attribution
A qualifying customer’s first order can be attributed to a creator in one of two ways:
- Tracked creator link: if a customer’s qualifying first order is placed within 30 days of that customer’s qualifying tracked creator-link visit, the order may be attributed to that creator.
- Creator code: if a valid creator code is entered and accepted at checkout, the qualifying order may be attributed to the creator associated with that code.
If multiple creator referrals exist for the same qualifying first order, the most recent valid attributable creator interaction is used, unless an explicitly entered valid creator code determines the attribution. Only one creator may be attributed per qualifying first order.
The Founding Creator 50% commission applies only to eligible product revenue from a qualifying customer’s first Wisconsin Soap Company order. Repeat purchases by the same customer are not eligible unless a future program explicitly says otherwise.
Payouts
- Earned commissions initially appear as PENDING.
- A commission remains pending for 14 days after the qualifying purchase.
- If the order remains valid after that period, the commission becomes APPROVED.
- Refunded, canceled, fraudulent, or charged-back orders may cause the related commission to be reversed.
- Approved creator balances are generally paid once per month, targeted around the 15th.
- There is a $10 minimum payout.
- Approved balances below $10 roll forward into the next payout period.
- Available payout methods may include Venmo, PayPal, and bank deposit through supported payment providers.
- Creators must keep their payout information accurate and complete any required provider verification.
- Failed or incomplete payouts are not considered paid and remain unresolved until corrected.
- Actual payout timing may occasionally vary because of weekends, holidays, payment-provider processing, account verification, or compliance review.
Tax and payment information
Creators are responsible for providing accurate information needed for payouts and any legally required tax reporting. Wisconsin Soap Company may request required tax information when necessary.
Do not send sensitive tax IDs, Social Security numbers, routing numbers, or bank-account numbers through ordinary website forms or email. Sensitive payment information should be handled through the approved secure payment-provider process.
Wisconsin Soap Company does not provide individual tax advice. If you have tax questions, consult a qualified tax professional.
Promotions and discounts
Creators may only advertise discounts, offers, or codes that Wisconsin Soap Company has actually approved. Creators should not create or share unofficial discounts or make up offers.
Disclosure requirements
Creators must clearly disclose their relationship with Wisconsin Soap Company whenever required.
In simple terms: if you received a free product, earn commission, or are paid to promote Wisconsin Soap Company, that connection should be clearly disclosed in the content itself — not buried somewhere a viewer would not notice it.
A discount code alone is not always enough to disclose a relationship.
Clear examples of disclosure include:
- “Gifted by Wisconsin Soap Company”
- “I earn commission from purchases through my link”
- “Paid partnership with Wisconsin Soap Company”
- “Ad”
Disclosures should be clear, easy to notice, and placed with the endorsement itself. For more practical guidance, see our Creator Disclosure Guide.
Content rights
Wisconsin Soap Company does not automatically take ownership of your content. You keep ownership of what you create.
Wisconsin Soap Company may only reuse creator content if:
- the creator grants permission
- the scope of that permission is clearly stated
- any paid-ad usage would require separate permission if appropriate
Program changes
Wisconsin Soap Company may update or discontinue the program prospectively. Any changes will apply going forward, while still honoring commissions already validly earned under the applicable terms.
